A man is killed in shooting at Frayser

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man is dead after a shooting in Frayser early Wednesday morning.

Memphis police responded to the shooting just before 3 a.m. on May 22, 2024, in the 2100 block of Willow Wood Avenue, where officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was taken to Regional One Health where he was pronounced dead.

Police did not release any information about a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
