Suspects are wanted for making “sexual orientation comments” and assaulting a person in Williamsburg

Authorities say several people are being sought in connection with an assault in Williamsburg.

According to police, on May 13, the suspects approached a 33-year-old gender non-conforming person in the area of ​​Boerum Street and Bushwick Avenue. The suspects are accused of making “anti-sexual orientation statements” before picking up a metal pipe and hitting the victim in the head.

The victim refused medical attention.
