One injured in shooting in southeast Roanoke, investigation ongoing

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police in Roanoke are investigating a shooting in the Southeast that left one person injured early Wednesday morning.

Details remain limited; However, Roanoke police told WFXR that officers responded to the 1600 block of Riverdale Road SE around 1 a.m.


The victim’s condition is currently unknown.

Police told WFXR that no suspects are currently in custody and the shooting remains under investigation.
