Man stabs woman, Colleyville police say – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Police are trying to determine what led to the fatal stabbing of a woman who was allegedly murdered by her husband at a Colleyville home Tuesday afternoon.

According to Colleyville police, officers received a call about a domestic disturbance and stabbing at a home in the 6700 block of St. Moritz Parkway just before 4 p.m.

When police arrived at the scene, they arrested two male relatives who were inside the home. They later found 57-year-old Cathy Jones-Hudiburg unconscious on the kitchen floor.

Colleyville police said when paramedics arrived, they learned the woman had suffered a fatal stab wound. Jones-Hudiburg was eventually pronounced dead at the scene, which immediately launched a murder investigation.

Jones-Hudiburg’s husband, 57-year-old Jason Hudiburg, was taken into custody after further investigation and questioning by investigators, authorities said. The man was taken to prison and charged with the murder of his wife.

Police told NBC 5 that North Richland Hills crime scene investigators are assisting with the crime scene investigation while the investigation continues.
