Fire in abandoned building in Huron sparks investigation | YourCentralValley.com

HURON, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An investigation is underway following a fire at a large commercial building in Huron, CalFire said Tuesday.

On Tuesday evening, firefighters said they responded to a structure fire at a large abandoned commercial building in Huron. Over 15 firefighters were on site, including rescue workers and emergency services.


Fire officials said the building was empty and no firefighters or civilians were injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Video provided by CalFire shows flames coming from the roof of the commercial building.

CalFire firefighters were assisted by the Coalinga Fire Department during this incident.

This is an ongoing investigation.
