Police investigate reports of shots fired in Dayton - WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DAYTON – Police are investigating reports of shots fired in Dayton Tuesday night, a Montgomery County dispatcher confirmed.

At approximately 6:58 p.m., Dayton police were dispatched to the 2000 block of E 2nd Street on reports of shots fired.

A 911 caller told dispatchers he looked out the window and saw a person “discharging his weapon.”

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in this incident.
