SWAT scene unfolding in southwest Houston neighborhood near Ridgecreek Drive, police department says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — SWAT teams responded to a home in southwest Houston Tuesday evening.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers have been on scene near Ridgecreek Drive since 10:30 a.m. attempting to execute a search warrant.

It is believed the suspect may be the only one inside the home, although it is unclear why he is being sought.

SkyEye flew over the scene, where the house could be seen surrounded by law enforcement.
