(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 48 is temporarily closed due to a serious accident.

Dispatchers reported a motorcycle accident on State Road 48 near State Road 148 this afternoon around 1:30 p.m.

Air rescue was called to the scene of the accident.

Traffic will be rerouted via State Route 148.
