1 dead in late night shooting on Union Ave

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person is dead after a shooting on Union Avenue late Monday night.

Emergency crews were called to the area of ​​Union Avenue near 1st Street around 11:45 p.m. Video from the crime scene showed a yellow tarp covering a victim’s body.

Bakersfield police told 17 News there have been no arrests and there is no description of a possible suspect.
