Teenage girl sexually harassed while out for a walk

A Kingston man has been charged after a teenager was sexually assaulted while walking on Church Street, according to Belleville police.

It is alleged that the man began stalking two high school-aged women walking on Front Street on Friday afternoon.

The man approached them on Church Street and sexually assaulted one of them.

The teenagers immediately reported the incident to a nearby school and the police were called.

Police received a description of the suspect and, using downtown cameras, located and arrested a 29-year-old man near the intersection of Pinnacle and Front Streets.

Jacob Bodzasy is charged with one count of sexual assault.

He was released on an bond with a court date in June.
