York City Police are asking for help in the hit-and-run crash investigation

A car struck a pedestrian in downtown York earlier this month and police are asking for the public’s help in the hit-and-run crash investigation, according to a news release.

The pedestrian was struck in the area of George and Market streets around 12:25 p.m. on May 9, the release said.

The vehicle, which appeared to be a royal blue Honda Civic with an unknown Pennsylvania license plate, was last seen traveling east on Market Street and turning onto North George Street, police said.
