Navi Mumbai: 13-year-old brother rapes and impregnates older sister after watching porn together in Vashi; Booked

Teenager charged with raping and impregnating his 15-year-old sister after watching porn together. The Vashi police registered the case on Saturday (May 18) after a medico-legal case (MLC) was reported from the General Hospital. The matter came to light after the girl visited the hospital for an abortion. The teenager was three months pregnant, police confirmed.

According to the victim’s statement, police said, “Both the siblings had been watching porn in December last year and decided to try out the ‘act’. However, this was difficult for both of them and they dropped the idea. But in January 2024, their younger brother forced himself not to do it. After her period stopped, she told her mother about the incident and her parents took her to the hospital.

According to the FPJ report, the case has been transferred to Khandeshwar police station as the victim and her family reside in Panvel of Maharashtra where the incident took place. The victim’s parents work in the household.

The girl’s father earns Rs 10,000 per month and the mother earns Rs 8,000. They also pay Rs 10,000 EMI for their one-room kitchen house. The father also did odd jobs late at night.

Police said the incident occurred when her parents were not at home. The case against the accused is registered for rape under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act
