Daughter sent her rapist to prison after filming him saying she was ‘the best thing he ever had’

WARNING – DISTURBING CONTENT: An evil father who abused his daughter for 20 years has been sent to prison after she filmed him bragging about his crimes.

Briton Raymond Prescott, 54, told his daughter Layla, now 31: “The best sex I’ve ever had in my life was with you.”

He first attacked Layla when she was just seven years old, saying, “This is our little secret.”

Layla said her “Jekyl and Hyde” father suddenly transformed from her “best friend” into a “sexual predator” and brazenly groped her while screaming, “I’m having sex with my own daughter.”

When she spoke to police in 2001, she claimed relatives had called her a “gobby b****” and she had withdrawn the charges.

But after Prescott tried to attack her in December 2012, brave Layla set a trap and secretly recorded her father confessing to his heinous crimes.

In the chilling clip, landscape gardener Prescott told his disgusted daughter: “I can’t have sex with anyone else and enjoy it, so I want to have sex with you.”

After securing enough evidence, Layla handed it over to police and Prescott, of Clifton, Nottingham, was charged with five counts of rape.

He initially denied the allegations but was jailed following his sentencing at Nottingham Crown Court last May.

Mum-of-four Layla, also from Clifton, waived her anonymity and said: “The first time he did it I was seven.

“He said he was proud of me for not wetting the bed and told me I would get a present. After everyone else left for school, he took me into the bedroom and laid me on the floor.

“He ran his hands over me and took off my skirt, but I can’t remember exactly what happened next. I put it out of my mind because it happened at such a young age, but I knew it was very bad. After that it happened again, but it wasn’t normal.”

Layla added: “During that time, I let him into my mum’s house while everyone was outside. I made him a cup of tea and then he turned around, swore at me and left before mum came back.

“I remember him taking me in his bed and performing oral sex on me when I was nine or ten years old. He would tell me that it was our little secret and that I was his special little girl.

Layla began drinking heavily when she was just 14 years old, after her father groomed her and gave her alcohol from the age of seven.

But her decision to talk to police in 2001, aged 16, ended badly.

Her boyfriend and aunt supported her, but her mother “didn’t even look at me or talk to me.”

“I think she was more ashamed because she didn’t know before. I think she believed me, but she was shocked.”

And when Layla’s father denied her allegations, she received death threats from his side of the family, who called her “a cocky little bitch” and “an attention seeker.”

Layla said: “Nine months later he decided to rape me. He did it because he felt like he got away with it. I drank bottles (Jack Daniels), beer, wine, vodka and anything I could get my hands on at the time to cope.

“As I got older, he started doing it regularly at Christmas time. He once raped me next to my mother and shouted, “I’m having sex with my daughter” – he thought he was funny.

“The last time he tried I was 27. I went to see him with my boyfriend and he was so drunk we had to carry him upstairs to his bedroom.

“He called me into the bedroom and said he wanted to talk to me, then grabbed my hand and stuck his tongue down my throat. My friend was in the next room. He tried to get me to touch him. I told him to get out and managed to escape.

“I got in the car with my friend and it just broke down. She asked what was wrong and I told her everything. She said go back and pick him up, so I did.”

After Layla went to the police for the first time at the age of 16, she received death threats from her father’s family.

The seven-minute secret recording that captured Prescott states: “I already fucked you. We had sex. Nobody will find out, we will keep it secret. I can’t have sex with anyone else and enjoy it, so I want to have sex with you.

“I know it’s wrong, it’s my daughter – I wish you weren’t my daughter. I had the best sex of my life with you. I just can’t commit to anyone else.”

Layla says, “I think you can still commit to mom.”

Prescott says, “I had this plan. When I get back to mom, I’ll get closer to you. It’s sick, I know it, it’s sick.”

Layla then leaves Prescott in his bed and leaves the house, but does not turn the recordings over to the police until February 2013.

She said: “I kept it to myself, I drank a lot. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. When I finally did, he was not arrested until his trial on May 18 last year. Even though I had the shot, he forced me to go through the process.”

Reacting to Prescott’s 12-year sentence, Layla said: “It’s great that he got 12 years. The judge was disgusted with him.”
