Adam Maass Trials: Benton County Sexual Assault Hearing Delayed

A pretrial hearing in the case of an Arkansas doctor accused of sexually assaulting patients has been postponed. Attorneys for Adam Maass requested the postponement so they have time to go through 16 terabytes of patient data. A terabyte is equal to 1,000 gigabytes. Maass, a Cave Springs endocrinologist, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of sexual assault in Benton County. The hearing had been scheduled for May 20, 2024. The new schedule calls for it to be held on May 20, 2024, or July 3, 2024. Maass also faces two different sexual assault charges in Washington County. He pleaded not guilty to those charges in 2022.

Maass, an endocrinologist from Cave Springs, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of sexual assault in Benton County.

The hearing was scheduled for May 20, 2024. The new date is July 3, 2024.

Maass also faces two separate sexual assault charges in Washington County. In 2022, he pleaded not guilty to these charges.
