Nina Dobrev is currently in a hospital bed after an accident left her in the care of a doctor!

the Vampire Diaries alum, who is dating former pro snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White, survived a fall herself, but not without injuries.

“How it started and how it’s going,” Nina Dobrev captioned an Instagram post on Monday, May 20. She probably posted the pictures from a hospital.

The first picture shows her smiling while sitting on a motorcycle. The second picture shows the actress in the hospital with multiple injuries.

Nina is wearing a neck AND knee brace and looks pretty exhausted and pretty depressed in the emergency room. Offscreen, a doctor appears to be tending to her, but her husband Shaun is nowhere to be seen.

She shared another selfie on her Instagram Stories, this time showing a pouty face at the camera.

As for her condition, Nina says it’s serious but not the end of the world.

“I am doing well, but there will be a long road to recovery ahead of us,” she wrote.

Poor thing! Especially considering the fact that she had big plans!

Nina misses the Olympics?!

Nina Dobrev and White have been together since 2020 and since his retirement, the couple has had the opportunity to spend a lot of quality time together.

In fact, even though Shaun is no longer competing, he is heading to Paris for the upcoming Olympics in just a few weeks.

As he explained to Us Weekly, he was excited to have Nina by his side on the trip since she speaks the language.

“She speaks French quite fluently. She’ll hate me for saying that and say, “That’s not fluent.” “I’m trying,” Shaun joked about Nina, noting that her mother lives in the south of France. “We will definitely go, hopefully to the Olympics and hang out there.
