One was arrested and another was wanted for a fatal shooting on Mother’s Day

One man is under arrest and another is wanted by police in connection with a fatal shooting on Mother’s Day.

The shooting occurred on Jordan Street around 5:30 p.m. on May 12, Mother’s Day. Police called to the scene found a man who had been shot at least once; he died at the scene. Here’s our story about what happened.

After an investigation, detectives arrested 24-year-old Devin Patterson and charged him with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, possession of drugs and possession of a weapon with drugs.

They also have an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Edward King Jr., charging him with second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon and possession of a firearm in a firearm-free zone.
