Genoa: 19-year-old Roman girl raped on cruise ship, three French boys arrested

There are three boys I just grew up all French, stopped by the border police in the port of Genoa sexual violence by gangs against a 19 year old Roman girl. The events allegedly occurred on the night of Saturday to Sunday on a cruise ship traveling between the ports of Marseille and Genoa.

The girl was due to arrive on Sunday morning in Civitavecchia, where she had set off a few days earlier to visit the main Mediterranean ports between Italy, Spain and France. On Saturday, the suspected attackers boarded the ship in Marseille. A few hours later, the rape reported to the authorities occurred on board on Sunday morning. Once at the port of Genoa, the border police came on board to investigate the incident.

When the investigative authorities gave substance to the victim’s complaint, the three young Frenchmen were arrested. The girl was examined by a doctor. The Genoa public prosecutor’s office is coordinating the investigation.
