Louisville man sentenced to 25 years in prison for child sexual abuse | Crime reports

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually abusing two children.

In a news release, the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office said Frank Edward Beal pleaded guilty to six counts of sodomy and three counts of sexual abuse. Four of those charges involved a victim under the age of 12.

Prosecutors said sexual contact occurred between September 2018 and September 2022. The remaining charges relate to sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16 between August 2019 and August 2021.

“Our children are the most valuable part of our community, but also the most vulnerable. “Our office takes threats to the safety of children seriously and ensures that those who threaten them can no longer do so,” said Gerina D., Commonwealth’s Attorney. Obs in a statement.

Upon his release, Beal must comply with the sex offender registry, complete a sex offender treatment program and undergo five years of post-incarceration supervision.
