Lahav 433 raided Tel Aviv community, 13 suspects arrested

Israeli media reported that authorities raided the Tel Aviv municipality on Monday morning and arrested 13 people suspected of serious crimes.

The arrests were made as part of a joint investigation by the National Economic Crimes Unit in Lahav 433 and the tax authority.

Those arrested include employees of the sanitation department who were arrested on suspicion of serious crimes of public corruption, money laundering and issuing illegal tax invoices worth hundreds of millions of shekels.

The suspects are said to have committed these crimes in collaboration with crime families from both the Jewish and Arab-Israeli sectors.
