Just after 8 a.m. Saturday, officers went to a residence on Brick Granary Road for reports of a stolen car.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim’s silver 2024 Tesla Cybertruck with a temporary New Jersey registration had been stolen from the property.

Investigators said they then used its tracking system to track the vehicle to a dirt road on Pinecone Drive.

According to authorities, a driver was in the car when it was located. However, before officers could approach the suspect, the car fled the area.

Cops say the Tesla ignored all police signals to stop as it led officers on a short chase.

After the short pursuit, the car came to a stop on Brick Granary Road, according to authorities. The driver, later identified as Cohee, was then taken into custody.

Cohee has since been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failure to signal a police officer, trespassing and failure to have a driver’s license.
