Pro-Palestine rally in Brooklyn: NYPD arrests 40 protesters in Bay Ridge demonstrating support for Gaza

BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn (WABC) — The NYPD made 40 arrests following Saturday’s pro-Palestine rally in Brooklyn.

A video of the demonstration shows police pushing one of the protesters to the ground and holding him before taking him away.

The rally took place near the Bay Ridge Avenue subway station.

Organizers of “Within Our Lifetime” called it the “Flood Brooklyn for Gaza Rally.”

Last week, police arrested 150 pro-Palestinian protesters on the Manhattan Bridge and in Brooklyn.
