Body found in Sahuarita’s house, murder investigation underway

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A murder investigation is underway in Sahuarita after a person was found dead in a home.

Sahuarita police said a body was found at a home in the 300 block of East Calle Minerva, near Interstate 19 and South Nogales Highway.

SPD said the body showed obvious signs of trauma.

“There is currently no known danger to the population,” the SPD said in a statement. “The investigation is still very active and detectives believe this is a murder.”

More information, including the victim’s name, will be released later.
