CHARLOTTE, NC (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – One person died after a shooting Saturday afternoon, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (MEDIC).

Officials first reported the incident shortly after 3 p.m. One person has been pronounced dead after a shooting on Southwold Drive, MEDIC says.

This is located at South Tryon Street and Nations Ford Road. Authorities have not said what led to the shooting or whether anyone has been arrested.
