A juvenile was stabbed during a road rage incident, according to Hampton police

HAMPTON, NH – Hampton Police said a road rage incident in the area of ​​High Street resulted in one person being stabbed.

Police responded to the area of ​​324 High Street at 9:11 p.m. Friday after receiving a call reporting a fight between the occupants of two vehicles. When officers arrived, they learned that one of the two vehicles had left the scene of the accident.

Initial on-scene investigations revealed that a reported road rage incident led to an altercation between a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old male. During this argument, the 18-year-old is said to have stabbed the teenager with a knife.

The teenager was able to leave the scene and was taken to hospital, where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, all parties involved in this incident have been identified and are believed to know each other. This appears to be an isolated case. They do not believe there is any danger to the public.

At this time, police say no charges have been filed and this is an ongoing investigation, so limited information is being released.
