Pat Beverley calls Pacers fan incident inexcusable; Was more than just a Cancún rumor

Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley said throwing a ball at Indiana Pacers fans late in Thursday’s Game 6 loss was “an unfortunate situation that never should have happened.”

“What I did was bad and it should never have happened,” Beverley said on his podcast Tuesday Pat Bev Pod. “I have to get better, and I will be better. This should never have happened, no matter what was said.”

The Athletics Shams Charania Beverley reportedly threw the ball into the crowd twice after a fan yelled “Cancún on three” toward a Bucks huddle.

“Let’s just say it was more than Cancun at three,” Beverley said.

The Bucks were eliminated in the 2024 first round after a 120-98 loss at Indiana.
