Man wanted for car break-in, credit card theft, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Atlanta Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for a person of interest involved in a northwest Atlanta burglary.

Police said officers went to 135 Chastain Park Ave. NW just before 8:45 p.m. on May 3. The victims alleged their car was broken into and a purse containing credit cards was stolen.

Police said one of the cards was used at the Power Package store located at 3196 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. A man was seen on store cameras using the card. He wore a white shirt and an Atlanta Braves cap.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477. There is a reward of up to $2,000.
