Elmwood Park man drove drunk and struck eight vehicles; 3 injured

A 29-year-old Elmwood Park man has been charged with drunken driving following a multi-vehicle crash Friday night.

According to police, Jean Lizardo struck eight cars and injured three people at the intersection of Mola Boulevard and Godwin Avenue before 6 p.m

According to police, there was significant damage to the vehicles involved and car parts were scattered on the road and sidewalk.

Three people were taken to hospital with injuries.

Lizardo was charged with drunk driving.
