5 people arrested on drug charges after months-long investigation in Beaufort County

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office says five men are facing multiple charges as a result of an investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in Bluffton.

Deputies say these men face the following charges:

  • Zachary Daniel Buzzetto, 39, of Bluffton: Distribution of methamphetamine first offense, excluding manufacturing meth and possession with intent to distribute cocaine within one-half mile of a school
  • Jesus Mike Rosario, 66, of Hilton Head Island: Simple possession of crack cocaine, possession of 28 grams of marijuana, less than 10 grams of hashish, first offense
  • Christopher James Sparks, 52, of Bluffton: manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, first offense; Distribution, sale, manufacture, possession with intent to distribute or purchase controlled substances in the vicinity of the school
  • Stuart Bertram Lupinski, 33, of Bluffton: manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, first offense; Possession with intent to distribute cocaine within a half mile of a school
  • Donnell Antonio Mitchell, Sr., 56, of Bluffton: Two counts of manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, first offense; three counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine within a half-mile radius of a school

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Task Force, along with Bluffton police, made the arrests Friday morning in the area of ​​Martha Brown Circle and Goethe Road in Bluffton.

They were being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
