Bolingbrook man dies in shooting – Shaw Local

A Bolingbrook man died in a homicide after being shot Thursday.

According to a statement from the Will County Coroner’s Office, 38-year-old Terrell Johnson was pronounced dead at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook Hospital at 9:19 p.m. Thursday.

Johnson died as a result of murder, corner officials said.

Officers responded to the shooting that resulted in Johnson’s death in the 500 block of Preston Drive at 8:29 p.m.

“No suspects have been identified, but there are early indications that the incident involved acquaintances and was not a random act,” Bolingbrook police officials said.
