Police operation blocks all lanes of NB I-5 in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. – All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Union Slough in Everett are closed due to police operations.

According to police, the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Thursday north of Marine View Drive Washington State Patrol. It is unclear what incident this was and what led to it.

Traffic cameras show traffic exiting the highway via the Marine View Drive exit.

WSP urges drivers to avoid the area while they work to clear traffic.
