Indiana man arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a co-worker at a carnival near Fultondale Elementary School

An Indiana man was arrested Thursday night for allegedly sexually assaulting a co-worker at a carnival near Fultondale Elementary School, police said Friday.

During the arrest of Michael Wiley, 34, of Evansville, Indiana, Fultondale Police learned that Wiley had outstanding warrants out of Gallatin County, Illinois, for two counts of predatory sexual assault of a child and 13 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Officers were dispatched to the Ultimate Fair in front of Fultondale Elementary School at 11:53 p.m. Thursday for a suspected sexual assault.

Wiley and the victim were employees of the fair, police said.

Fultondale detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Wiley, who is being held pending extradition.
