Police charge Centerville man with murder in deadly shooting

A man was charged with second-degree murder Wednesday hours after a shooting in the Centerville area of ​​Fairfax County, police said.

Fairfax County police have charged 18-year-old Hassan Kanu of Centerville in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Alcantara of Manassas. Kanu, who also suffered gunshot wounds, was also charged with aggravated use of a firearm. No attorney was listed for Kanu in court records.
