Missing man found dead

RUSK COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) – A missing Chetek man was found dead by a kayaker today.

According to a news release from the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office, on May 16, a kayaker called and reported what he believed was 61-year-old Scott Link of Chetek missing.

His body was recovered and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Foul play is not suspected.

Link was reported missing by his family on May 13th.
