Clearwater police are working to identify two men who attacked a teenager and stole his bike

Clearwater police investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects who beat a teenager and stole his bicycle.

The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. on May 1 and began at Fort Harrison Avenue and Chestnut Street when the teenager nearly collided with a gray Nissan SUV in a gas station parking lot.

Two men in the SUV followed the teen for several blocks before running him off the road near Hamlet Avenue and Belleview Boulevard.

The passenger jumped out of the SUV, grabbed him and began punching him.

The passenger was a bald white male wearing a black shirt and jeans and had a tattoo covering his entire arm and possibly a neck.

The driver was a white male with gray-brown hair who wore glasses and appeared to be wearing a security uniform.

Anyone with information about the identities of the two suspects should call Clearwater police at 727-562-4242.
