ATLANTA – Former Atlanta police officer charged with murder

Koby Minor was also booked into the Fulton County Jail on charges of aggravated assault.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, leaders were notified Wednesday of Minor’s arrest by the Union City Police Department. He then submitted his resignation, which took effect immediately.

Minor had worked for APD since July 2018 and was on unpaid administrative leave after being arrested in Milton in December 2023, according to an APD spokesperson.

Details of his arrest in Milton and Union City were not immediately available.
