Palestinian officials said Israeli troops killed a man on Wednesday when clashes broke out following a march in the West Bank to commemorate the mass expulsion of Palestinians in the 1948 Nakba.

“A young man was killed by occupation bullets at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh,” the Palestinian Ministry of Health said. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the man killed was a 20-year-old student at Birzeit University.
