Houston couple dead, police investigate Fox Chase murder-suicide

HOUSTON (KIAH) — At 9 p.m., Harris County officers responded to a welfare check for a couple living in a home at Fox Chase and Deer Cove. The couple had reportedly not been heard from for several days. A family friend reports on the last hearing between the two on Saturday.

When officers forced entry into the home, they found the bodies of a deceased man and woman who had apparently been shot in a suicide attempt. Investigators found the gun in the deceased man’s hand and believe he shot her and then himself.
