Driver arrested for manslaughter under the influence of alcohol after fatal bus crash in Florida

The driver of a Ford Ranger pickup truck involved in a fatal bus crash in Marion County, Florida, was arrested Tuesday afternoon. Bryan Maclean Howard, 41, has been charged with eight counts of drunken driving for his role in the bus crash Tuesday morning that killed eight farm workers and injured 40 others. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the scene of the bus crash at 6:37 a.m. Tuesday. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the bus was transporting approximately 53 employees of an agricultural company.
