Shooting leaves man dead, Merced investigation | YourCentralValley.com

MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A shooting sparked a homicide investigation after a 36-year-old man died, Merced police said.

Officers said they received multiple calls about a shooting in the 1700 block of Conestoga Drive in Merced around 8 p.m. Monday.


According to police, there was an argument between at least two people and shots were fired. A 36-year-old man was shot and despite life-saving efforts by emergency services, the 36-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives and crime scene personnel responded and took over the investigation.
