FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Temperatures will remain warm throughout the week

Wind speeds of 100 mph will continue as winds will also increase to around 30 mph in various areas

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Temperatures will remain above normal for the rest of this week and into the weekend, with the lower deserts near or just above 100 degrees most days.

Dry conditions will persist, with the usual late afternoon breeze.

The exception is the higher elevations of northern and eastern Arizona, where there will be a few late showers each day.

These showers could support some patchy, gusty winds moving down into the lower deserts each evening.
