Yonkers police are searching for suspects in pepper spray incident at Shop Rite

Several people were injured in a pepper spray incident at a Shop Rite in Yonkers.

It happened Monday afternoon at the Riverdale and Prospect location.

Police believe it was a case of shoplifting.

At one point, police said, the two suspects pepper-sprayed a loss prevention officer inside the store. Two buyers were also exposed.

All injuries were minor.

The suspects have not yet been found.
