Pack of dogs attack toddler in Whitley County

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18). – Whitley County officials are warning the public about a pack of dangerous dogs responsible for attacking a toddler.

Whitley County Fiscal Court says a pack of large dogs, possibly as many as 10, attacked a 2-year-old Monday morning, according to a post on Facebook.

The attack occurred in the Johnny Hollow area of ​​Rockholds, near Whitley North Elementary School. According to the agency, the school was aware of the attack and took appropriate precautions.

The dogs are still at large. The Tax Court Office urges people not to approach the dogs and to call 911 immediately if they see them. Animal control is actively searching for the dogs.
