Inmate reportedly arrested in possession of contraband in prison

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 29-year-old inmate at the Erie County Detention Center is accused of prison contraband allegedly discovered during an investigation by the ECSO Narcotics and Intelligence Unit.

Xenofontas Raptis of Lancaster was allegedly in possession of a glass pipe containing what appeared to contain cocaine residue, as well as a plastic bag also containing what appeared to contain crack cocaine, according to a report released by the Sheriff’s Department of Erie County.
