Here is an overview of the 2024 rankings.

ATLANTA — For another year in a row, Atlanta ranked No. 1 as the best city to start a career, according to a new report from WalletHub.

The financial site released its 2024 list of the best and worst places to start a career in the United States on Monday. According to the survey, Atlanta took first place with a total score of 65.84, down slightly from last year’s ranking of 66.87.

To determine the ranking, WalletHub researchers compared 182 cities, based on 26 key indicators, including entry-level job availability, average starting monthly salary, and housing affordability. The researchers also compared professional opportunities and quality of life.
