Police are investigating after three people were found dead in a Madison County home over the weekend.

According to Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers, officers received a call about a triple homicide that occurred at a residence on Old Canton Road around 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, police found individuals aged 42, 56 and 76 dead from gunshot wounds in the living room.

This is a developing story. No arrests were made in connection with the deaths. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting RPD in evaluating the case.

The incident in Ridgeland came just two days after police made an arrest on a triple homicide in neighboring Jackson.

Although the two cases are not related, the Jackson Police Action Team arrested 27-year-old Jimal Tarvin on Friday for the deaths of Travis Burrell, Jamie Hoard and Nicole Garrett.
