Kannada actress Pavithra Jayaram dies in a road accident

Kannada and Telugu actress Pavithra Jayaram, best known for her role in TV series Trinayani, died in a car accident in Hyderabad. She reportedly died on the spot when her car collided with a bus.

According to reports in a leading news portal, Pavithra met with an accident at 1 am on Sunday. She was on her way from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. Her vehicle was hit by a bus after she crashed into a divider.

According to reports, Pavithra’s cousin Apeksha, actor Chandrakanth and driver Srikanth were also seriously injured in the accident.

Pavithra made her acting debut with a serial titled Jokali. She became a household name with the popularity of her TV show Tilottama.
