One is seriously injured in a UTV accident in Brighton

BRIGHTON, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Kansasville Fire Department responded to a UTV rollover accident on Sunday, May 12th.

It happened around 7 p.m. near Highway 142 in the town of Brighton.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and located an injured 21-year-old woman in a farm field north of the roadway. The UTV operator had been alone when the vehicle overturned and landed on the woman, seriously injuring her.

The 21-year-old was transported by Flight for Life and suffered serious injuries.

According to authorities, the driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
