Mesa Ambulance involved in an accident while responding to a serious motorcycle accident

MESA, AZ – A Mesa ambulance was involved in an accident while responding to a serious motorcycle accident Sunday morning.

According to Mesa police, the first accident occurred just before 9 a.m. near Baseline and Alma School streets.

A car and a motorcycle were involved in the accident.

According to the Mesa Fire Department, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The occupants of the car were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

While responding to this accident, a Mesa ambulance was struck by a vehicle near US 60 and Country Club Drive.

Fortunately, this accident was minor and no one was injured, according to Mesa Fire.

Both accidents are still under investigation.
