A Fletcher, Vermont, man will be arraigned in Burlington at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning on charges of shooting a rifle at a home in Huntington and threatening a man at that home with the same weapon.

According to Vermont State Police, 38-year-old Lucas Gingras pointed a muzzleloader at a man on Main Street before leaving the house Friday night. Gingras returned home just before 9:30 a.m.; Police accuse him of firing a shot at the house while a woman and a child were inside. Nobody was injured.

Gingras reportedly left the property a second time, but then returned and forced his way into the house. When investigators arrested him, they said they also found a loaded muzzleloader and a crossbow in the front seat of his car.

Gingras is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment. He is being held without bail.
