Gang rape accused: Four people accused of gang rape held | Ranchi News

Ranchi: Last March, four youths were arrested in Ranchi district on charges of gang-raping a girl. Those arrested were identified as Anand Minz, Tarun Kindo, James Ba and Sashi Oroan – all in their 20s. Minz is a resident of Ranchi district while the rest are from Gumla district, police said. One of the accused called the girl to his rented apartment under some pretext and committed the crime. The girl died by suicide at her home on Sunday. She mentioned the defendant by name in her suicide note. A case was registered under Section 306 of the IPC on Tuesday. TNN
